The Diamond Headache Clinic Research & Educational Foundation (DHCREF) was founded in 1987 with a mission to promote headache education to physicians and allied health professionals.

Annually, for over 3 decades, DHCREF along with the Diamond Headache Inpatient Unit at Amita Health St. Joseph Hospital Chicago has jointly sponsored online headache education initiatives, two multi-day courses, as well as a one-day seminar.

Who We Are

For over 3 decades, DHCREF along with the Diamond Headache Inpatient Unit at Amita Health St. Joseph Hospital Chicago jointly sponsors two national multi-day courses as well as one-day local seminars for physicians and allied health professionals who treat headache patients.

Our annual conferences and online headache education bring together multiple speakers and breakout session presenters to encourage the exchange of ideas as well as lead discussions relevant to the cause and treatments of headaches and its related conditions. The information obtained through our ACCME approved courses allow hundreds of medical professionals to stay on the cutting edge of headache education and treatments to provide optimal care in their practices.
